Just a thought- if roasted peanuts can be bought at a bulk rate you could then grind them and make the peanut butter with no sugar or anything.
My 2 boys, now 29 and 32, brought p&J for lunch almost everyday. I couldn't believe they didn't get sick of it. They ended up pretty smart so I guess it was OK.
