The crocs should keep everybody on their toes, too complacent, and too slow could be an issue. The most important thing is to make sure kids are aware of not getting to close.

The lagoon mouth does seem a bit more dangerous than other places now, like it may take some little one kneeling by the water some day.

Then of course there will be a huge knee jerk reaction that really messes up our options for keeping it natural.

It was not such a problem when the sand bar went way into the lagoon from the ocean and generally kept out all but the most adventurous. Now the unknowing could have a serious problem right at the mouth if they are the wrong shape, low to the water, when our croc friends are hungry.

It is that shape and position that is natural for kids and a strong signal for crocs to attack (they can not resist) it is as good as running away for attracting a cheeta.

I don't have kids but I do see the danger at the lagoon mouth, the crocs don't need the extra temptation.

Don't have a solution but we should all be aware, Signs? no kneeling?
