Our first tasting menu was such a success that we've planned our second one for next Thurs, Nov. 13.

Again, the cost is only 200 pesos per person, previous reservation required. Don't miss the chance to sample the daring, surprising and delicious flavor combinations from Boca de Iguanas' talented young Chef Fernanda.... and yes, this menu is different from the one she presented last week.

BOCA DE IGUANAS TASTING MENU

COLD SOUP
-Refreshing chayote and Lemon grass

APPETIZER SAMPLER
-Warm grilled portobello and apple salad with tofu and spinach marinated in sessame oil dressing.
-Seafood "salpicon" featuring shrimp with avocado and garlic octopus served over crunchy garlic bread.

MAIN COURSES
-Fresh fish filet stuffed with "Huitlacoche" and blue chesse, accompanied by risotto and mezcal reduction sauce.
-Fish fillet in orange-tequila and "epazote" sauce served with asparragus spears

Mint granita to cleanse the palatte

-Tender grilled chicken breast marinated with local herbs accompanied by baby cambray onions, tomatillos and balsamic shallot and a side of mashed plantains.

DESSERT
-Tapioca with coconut cream, kiwi and pineapple "compote" marmelade.
