A recent mention in the Guadalajara Colony Reporter ... Bacon, Eggs, and Laundry An unexpected spot for an international eatery; nonetheless, Restaurant Perez recently opened next to the lavanderia. Right next to, as in the same bright orange building. Irma is still the laundry queen in one half, and Chef Isai rules the inviting little outdoor, ramada-covered café on the other. There may be method to this seeming madness. Restaurant Perez is still the first restaurant on the way into town (although rumor has it that Raymundo’s coffee and bake shop will finally open this year). It has plenty of parking, an extensive menu, a full bar, and it’s connected to the only laundromat in town. Isai, by the way, has been a chef for the Blue Bay Resort. They’re open every day but Wednesday, serving breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, lunch from noon to 5 p.m., and dinner from 6 to 10 p.m. |
