If you don't rent car at the airport you can hire a taxi for around $60.00 US.

You would have to go to the money exchange place in Melaque to cash travelers checks.

Yes there are mosquitoes so bring your favorite repellent.

There is no ATM in LA Manzanilla.

I have seen people surf fishing here in La Manzanilla but I'm not certain how successful they are. Rental of said fishing gear is unknown to me but Steven Rutherford is a wonderful fishing guide and may have the answer to the rental question.
