La Catalina Educational Foundation is about to launch their 2nd annual online auction, where you can bid on great items and services donated by local businesses and individuals in the Costa Alegre area. Bidding can be done at www.lacatalinafoundation.com from Jan. 15 – Feb. 15, 2009. Proceeds will be used to support educational programs in La Manzanilla including 25% given directly to La Manzanilla schools; 25% for Foundation programs; and 50% towards the construction of the Costa Alegre Educational Center. To donate an item for the auction, please contact Julie at 351-5362 or Dean at (044) 315-107-8060. Both services and new and used items are accepted.
