I have only been in La Manzanilla about a year, but from my Mexican friends I have heard many positive things about Gringo Day, including that it is a way the gringos thank the community of La Manzanilla.

It strikes me as wonderful that gringos take responsibility for one day of what I understand to be a 4 day community party.

To those who are planning this year's Gringo Day, I am happy to volunteer time if it would be helpful. Feel free to email me.
