Very dangerous glass baking dishes

I have been using the same glass baking dishes (13x9) for many years now. They are not Pyrex, but are Pyrorey, the Mexican brand. Two weeks ago I was baking a multi-ingredient cake and after 5 minutes in the oven the glass dish exploded. You can imagine the mess! Tonight I baked fish in a similar dish and just prior to finishing, it too exploded, showering glass all over the oven. I can't explain it, but please be very careful using these dishes. There were no cracks or chips in them prior to using either one. Maybe age (of the dish) had something to do with it. It has never happened to me before and I am not cooking any differently. Has anyone else ever had this experience?
