| for years I drove between San Miguel and Ottawa. once, i made the brownsville crossing and it was okay but boring and indirect. The Loredo crossing was fast and the road was much more interesting, except in Texas--flat and dusty. The Joshoa Tree forest was the highlight of the trip- Every year, i would check with CAA for road condition updates. |
