If anyone was here last July for the class on Mojote that was given by the ladies from Cuzilapa (is that spelled right?) then you will be happy to hear that there will be ANOTHER. They are coming to Martin's restaurant on the 14th (sat) at 930am
Cost is 200p to cover gas expenses and ingredients for the wonderful yummy food we will be making from Mojote. In case you don't know the Mojote tree grows in the cerro and has these wonderful seeds that are extremely nutritious and very versitile. We learned to make lots of different food dishes from them. It was a very fun workshop and I highly recommend it.

If you are interested, please phone me or email me and reserve a space. We need to know how many people will come so we can gather enough mojote and buy enough ingredients for the recipes. If anyone is interested in sponsoring a Mexican person to come that would be great. Many people remember their Mothers and Grandmothers using Mojote, but lots do not know how to use it themselves anymore. It is free, abundant, and very healthy and it TASTES GREAT.
Hope to see you there.
