I think Tamarindo is missing a lot of business because of a lack of knowledge on the part of the people who could go there. Hopefully this thread will help dispel that. I have thought that it would be great for them to set up a golf course tour of sorts, a way to allow those who don't play golf to experience the beauty of the course and the area, either by golf cart or by walking, perhaps packaged with a lunch / dinner thing. I hear they have a great place to have snacks drinks at the 9th hole, but have never experienced it. At least we (the common people and visitors who don't play golf) who live in La Manzanilla could enjoy (even at a cost) where the water goes. This area is screaming for things to do, one would think that they would capitalize on it. The back road to Tamarindo would be a wonderful walk / lunch thing. Seems like opportunity missed, or perhaps not thought of? The only explanation I can come up with is that they really don't want people around, period. D |
