Hola La Manzanilla, With the help of special people like you La Catalina Educational Foundation started the Wings High School Scholarship Program. The Wings Scholarship Program finds disadvantaged middle school students that excel in academics but don’t have the financial resources to continue to high school. On average over the last 5 years only 40% percent of students in La Manzanilla continue to high school. The scholarship provides transportation to a high school in the area (there is no high school in La Manzanilla), text book fees, uniforms fees, lunch money and tuition expenses. The lucky scholarship winner also receives private one on one tutoring provided through-out the year by LCEF. As a sponsor you will make a special friend, receive updates, pictures and thank you cards from your scholarship student, and significantly change the life of a child in La Manzanilla.
