I highly recommend participating in the Wings scholarship. Last year I split the very reasonable cost with a few friends & family, which involved minimal effort - literally I sent 3 emails offering my friends & family the opportunity to join with me to change someone's life for approximately $250 each for the year. Needless to say it was an easy sell. Dean & La Catalina have provided updates throughout the year as well as opportunities to meet with Lupita, the scholarship recipient, and her family. Whether you are in La Manzanilla or not, I hope you will consider sponsoring a scholarship so that someone with excellent academic credentials and the desire to continue his/her education will be able to do so. This is a fabulous, easy, and low-price-tag opportunity to make a monumental difference in someone's life.
