OK everyone - We now have official word from Martin, that Rosa and the ladies from Cuzalapa WILL BE COMING NEXT SATURDAY That is April 4. The class will start at 11 but we are asking people to come at 10:30 so we can help set things up. At least try to be there by 10:45 at the latest so we can start en punto at llam Please. Also, please spread the word among your Mexican friends - they would like as many Mexican people to attend as possible, since they are involved in a big program all over Mexico to educate people about the nutrition available from the Mojote. It is a traditional food that has been mostly forgotten (although some people do still use it quite a bit) and is definitely a food of the future for Mexico. For anyone who does not know, this workshop will begin hopefully with a video about Mojote, then we will learn how to collect, prepare, and make many wonderful tasty foods with it, and then we get to eat all the yummy stuff we make. The last time they did this last July we really had fun. It is a great class and I encourage everyone who can to come. Cost is a sliding scale from 100-200p and for Mexican people it is 50-100p.
