Another 29 animals back home to much happier lives as perfect mascotas, cleaned of ticks and fleas and no more unwanted puppies and kittens.
Thank you Dra Yolanda from Mexico City who gives her unending love and talents to helping us help the animals, Dra Rocio who has become a VERY important part of our community and Marcia, Larry, Mary, Rusty, Role, Sylvia, Liz and Viteta for all of their help. We had 13 dogs and 1 cat come from Los Ingenios. Thank you Perla for helping it happen.
And of course Casa de Flores for a fabulous diner.
Cisco was diagnosed with Erhlichia and another tick borne disease today. He's been a little under the weather for the past week. This disease is carried by ticks(which we check for everyday and use frontline all the time). One bite by an infected tick causes this terrible disease. With a month or more of Doxicycline we should be able to cure him. If you dog shows any signs of lethargy, stiffness in joints, panting for no apparent reason or just plain not right please check with you Vet.
If you want more info please contact me.
