Sebastian(past president of the Ejido and very involved politico) has been organizing clean-ups, planting of trees and watering those trees along the road into town. Everyday he and his granddaughters are out there watering and it sure shows. Those trees have a great start. I have a feeling he's part of the arroyo clean-up too. We took a look yesterday and what a difference. In the past it has been the "DUMP" in town. Thank you to everyone that did this! The whole town looks great. In the past it seemed like town and the beach looked pretty good before Easter and then it was trashed by the visitors. Now all is as clean as we've ever seem it. All the piles left on the beach after Easter have been picked up too. Even Sandy's old sail boat that washed up on the beach was cleaned up yesterday. |
