i too have a sat dish--hughesnet. it worked fine for about 2 weeks and then began having all the problems y'all have posted. Turned out it was a fault in the receiver. the computer doctor said same symptoms are caused by certain viruses-I have mega-slowdowns every saturday morning when the system is saturated, but basically, i´m happy with it. i pay 60 american a month and get American-type service. good luck with Hellex, everybody.
