A friend who lived in both San Antonio and San MIguel de Allende for many years recommended to me Lewis and Lewis. I've used them for years. I had a rock slide hit my Jetta and the adjuster came out from Manzanillo and appraised the damage and when I got back to the states, they sent me a check from the office in San Ysidro. I was quite satisfied. http://www.mexonline.com/lewis&lewis.htm

For a VW Jetta valued collision at $17,000 and the extra option of having your auto repaired in the US if desired...cost was about $475 annually. You can also switch the policy to another vehicle if you wish during the year for about a $35 fee.
