It looks as though we could be in for a bit of excitement. It may be time to batten down the hatches. The last hurricane that came by here on my watch was unnerving with the sustained winds of 40 mph. This one will be a Cat 1 while here and is moving very slowly, judging by the tracking maps on Weather Underground.
