Yes Helga I have,back on the mid 70's and wasn't fan our house disappear and most of the my neighbors we took refuge on same apartments close to el cerro so the wind wasn't hiting directly, that was a bigone it destroy the roads and the electric lines no drinking water for at lease two weeks we ate mangos bananas and what ever was abailable.
My dad and some of the man on the village when to melaque on my dad's truck it took more than two days to get there to get some groceries cleaning the way with machates.
A week later a goverment truck came loaded with racions of staple food.
On those days most of the houses where made of palapas.
