We've had power for longer than a few minutes at a time! During today's brief moments of illumination, I never knew if I should blow out the candles, fire up my computer, or get more ice out of the freezer. Never seemed to be time to do more than one, at least at this end of town. How'd the rest of you fare?

And we seem to have dodged Andres' bullet! What a beautiful day it's been, with soothing rain and cooling breezes to compensate for no fans during the power outages. Would we have enjoyed the day more had we been certain Andres wasn't lurking behind each brief gust? Could've been reassuring to be in touch with reality, but we seem to have survived just fine without it.
