| Sweet story about "el jentil". For those of us who call themselves WATERMEN or Waterpeople, Surfers,divers, fishermen, and Sailors; stories such as " el jentil" are a gentle reminder of how much wonder is within the "Deep Blue". Throughout the world , where ever landman has set up civilization and interacted with the Ocean there is always stories similar to "el jentil". The Selkies of the North Atlantic , are a wonderful example . For some the stories are folklore, for some the stories are true and wondrous. We are products of this Post Modern Age, where everything has to have an explanation, but when we encounter the wondrous or unexplainable we discount it and brush it away as fantasy. I say viva " el jentil" . thanks for the story. Look to the Horizon. |
