El zar de la droga: La vida de un narcotraficante mexicano by Terrence Poppa (Paperback - Oct 1, 1998)

Okay Eileen you might be interested in this book, it is one of the most popular books sold in Marathon, TX outside of Big Bend Nat'l. Park. I read this book several years ago and it really gives you an idea of how it all started. Pablo Acosta was a folk hero to the Mexicans living along the border across from Big Bend, interesting that now it is forbidden to venture across the Rio Grande in this area. His followers eventually morphed into the Sinaloa Cartel.
