Tropical Storm Dolores

The fourth tropical storm of the Eastern Pacific season is already too far out in the Pacific to affect La Manzanilla and if you look at the historical graphic on the Wunderground site (link below),you can see that storms developing in this area never come close to the coast before heading further west. Hurricane Carlos is still churning away - also very far out to sea and still to the south of us. I doubt if either of these storms will produce any rain today, but the afternoon buildups over the mountains could develop into thunderstorms if the predicted gusty winds don't come to pass. Still pretty hot and humid - but not unbearable at all because of las brisas del mar. http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/tracking/ep200905_sat.html#a_topad |
