Hi Donna, I'm assuming you are going from Mexico to the USA, I don't know whether your "home" is in Mexico or ? I'm also assuming you are flying with Alaska Airlines (they all have different priorities) Flying out of Manzanilla on Alaska, at the check in counter, they only seem concerned about making sure you pay the extra money for your pet. We have done this well over a dozen times and only once did they ask to see the health certificate at Alaska AA, leaving Mexico.

They have NEVER asked to see them going into the USA.

From the USA, about 2 out 0f 3 times they check the papers when leaving and Mexico customs ask to see them about 75% of the time.
