I'm posting this in the hope that the rain gods will see it and feel the need to prove me wrong by producing an ear-popping thunderstorm today. Sooo hot and humid - no rain since Monday and temps in the high 80's/low 90's every day. At 1 PM it's 88F/31C with 69% humidity - not the worst it could be, but pretty close. July rainfall is at 2.16 inches and even with 2 weeks to go, that's not promising anymore. The lowest July rainfall we've seen (since 2004) was 2.42 inches in 2005. Rain-dance anyone??? |
