Carol: as I was telling you today, the program called OPORTUNIDADES provides full health insurance coverage for Mexican families who do not have IMSS.The parents of this hemophilic child should find out about the program in any of the Centros de Salud and apply for the program in the designated ones. The Centro de Salud in Melaque is one of them, also Cihuatlàn. Because the family is going to need additional funds to take care of the child, once the child is diagnosed, OPORTUNIDADES will also provide financial funds.
You will be very surprised how many social programs Mexico has.
