I don't know if all that washing activity by Jean, Debbie and Helga has worked or not, but at 6 PM there are some impressive cloud buildups to the east which may bring rain tonight. However, the wind just picked up again - which usually stops development of afternoon thunderstorms. Interesting info about El Nino from NOAA: http://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2009/20090709_elnino.html El Nino conditions could mean more rain for the Pacific coast and fewer hurricanes in the Atlantic this season. |
