Just tried to read that article on-line and find
that my subscription is no longer active. I'll
try to find a copy in Melaque today. I hope you're
referring to NOAA as "the expert" (and not me!) -
even NOAA always has a disclaimer on both El Nino and La Nina conditions, which is why they're constantly monitoring water temps in the Pacific. I hadn't realized that Guadalajara was hurting for
rain but it's still early in the season. August
and September traditionally produce the highest rainfall for the coast - not sure if that's true for the Guadalajara area.
