We've probably all lost our hearing after years of living in Mexico but I agree that this year's rockets don't seem as loud or as numerous. I was told that some church members objected to both the amount of money spent and the obsessive noise last year. The plaza is much quieter at night and the town definitely has fewer Mexican families here for summer vacation as in years past. Kind of sad. |
