....I've been using Dr. Bronner's (liquid) peppermint soap for 40+ years and almost never get a mosquito bite - probably for the same reason Deet works - mosquitos don't like the smell. I highly recommend it. I hope that Deet or one of it's derivatives aren't part of what's being used here in the mosquito fogging process, but since no one seems to know what the compound is, it's of concern to me. If anyone has info on what is being used, please chime in here. There are many fertilizers and insecticides still in use in Mexico that were banned in the US years ago but are still sold here and in many third-world countries. |
