I live in fear of Odess being activated - can't
imagine how long that kind of warning would go on
or how pertinent it would be for La Manzanilla.
I kind of liked the old method - Civil Defense would arrive about an hour before the storm was
going to hit and suggest that the fishermen get their boats out of the water (which had usually been done hours before). Seemed to work, and it was mucho mas tranquil.
