We just got a taste of what might have been if
Jimena had come a little closer - thunder, lightning, serious wind gusts and almost a quarter
of an inch of rain in about 15 minutes (which will
go into September's rainfall total) - all from the tail- end circulation around Jimena. I still hear a little thunder in the distance but it appears to be over for now - except for a rainbow!
