We received this message today and are heartbroken. Abbie was our "Abbie's" godmother and personal vet and we loved her. Bob and I know that Abbie was a friend to many people in La Manzanilla so decided to pass this on.



Our beloved Abbie died peacefully Friday May 15 at 3:45 p.m. in the sun-blessed yard of her home with Tom, Lily, Jamie, Hawkeye, Cuba, Sugar, Pogo, Elliot and dozens of goldfinches and wood fairies surrounding her with love. Abbie made her transition with the same dignity and grace with which she lived her life. We all miss her terribly.
We are planning a celebration-of-life picnic in her honor at Abbie and Tom’s home at 36859 Alexander Road, Philomath, OR 97370, mid-afternoon, Saturday, May 30, 2009. Please join us if you are able. Call 541-929-4925 if you need directions.
If you are considering sending flowers to the family, may we request instead that you make a donation in her memory to Benton Hospice Service, 2350 NW Professional Drive, Corvallis, OR 97330.
