Or the Helping Hands Bookstore here in Lamanzanilla was established six years ago. It is a non-profit bookstore where we sell books that have been donated to us...the prices are very reasonable...from 10-50 pesos and we now have DVDs as well for 10 pesos...and rumor is that music is also coming our way. The money made from all these donated items, from the good folks of the pueblo, is allocated to school scholarships, helping out with other needs at the local schools and the kinder program. In the past we have aided Centro de Salud...and are available to those in need personally for health or just causes. We sincerely appreciate those who have donated...as it stays here in OUR community...and to those that have come back year after year to volunteer their days...a huge thank you...it pays to stay local...stephanie
