That's probably the same one that has appeared at our house over the past couple of years-getting bigger all the time. Greg has taken pictures. I was wondering what happened to him.
Our 16+ pound cat, Tiggy, disappeared around 8 weeks ago.I can't imagine this boa could of eaten him, but you never know. Tiggy wasn't afraid of anything and probably thought he would win.
When we first started building our house 11 years ago (we were not home) our workers found a 8+foot boa in our garage. I'm sorry to say they killed it and I've always felt bad about that. Weeks later an 8 +foot rattlesnake was killed farther up the mountain. We have had several Rattlers on our property both here and in California over the years.
Yes, we do live in the jungle and need to respect all things that we have chosen to live with. They were here first. It's a shame so much of the jungle has been hacked down for nothing up on these hills. Thank you for moving him to a safer place and not killing him as so many have done.
Sorry about your kittens, Anne, but I hope that's where Tiggy ended up. It's a better way to go than poison (which I was afraid had happened). There is a wonderful full grown cat at Rocio's that needs a home. He is very loving and would make a great mouse catcher since the other mouse catcher has been moved. He's gray and white, been nuetered and loves dogs.
