Teacher Appreciation Bags

Last year, with donations from various individuals, the 20 teachers, administrators and school staff in La Manzanilla, from the preschool up through middle school, received gift bags on the new year as an expression of appreciation from the community to the teachers for all of their hard work and dedication in educating the children of the village. La Catalina Educational Foundation would like to carry this on as an annual event. Last year’s teacher appreciation bags included some supplies for their classrooms, such as markers, calculators, post it notes, etc. as well as personal gifts that they could use outside of the classroom. Please let us know if you would like to donate items to be included in the teacher appreciation bags, which will be delivered to the teachers when they start back to school on January 7th.
