We went out yesterday, starting in Barra and motored up the coast almost to Careyes. (my first fishing trip ever). We heard over the radio that one party took 14 tuna about 21 miles out. We saw whales, dolphins, a zillion Baraleta, but didn't get a strike until we were just past the rocks that you see from Cuastecomates. We caught four dorado there. One note; it turned out that two of the fish were females and had egg sacks. I wonder when the babies are hatched?? The dorado were quite mature and truly it is the best -- but to see their amazing colors fade as they die...
