I have heard the political issues around dengue before. When I took my trash to the bin the other day I was asked for 10 pesos to help buy fuel for the garbage truck. The delegato obviously isn't getting money from rhe municipality as they should. I also heard the ejido prez say that the sewer (remember that?) would never be finished until the political scenery changed.

Is it a coincidence that there is a dengue epidemic in the year that the spraying stops? The secret is - which politicians have petty little issues that are more important than public helth and the economic vitality of a community?
