Hi Linda
I also had dengue 3 years ago. I think it was a different strain as I was sick for 3 months and lost 25 pounds....thought it was 'the end'. I remember a few others coming down with it as well and most were hopitalized with severe dehydration.
The type going around now seems different? Milder symptoms but more people getting it.....seems to last for only a few weeks....Maybe time of year or different Acetes...?
