The tennis court is red clay, not in very good condition, although Juan, the owner of Quinta Valentina tries his best. At the beginning of the season, he started charging 75 pesos per person for the use of the court. That was 300 pesos for a foursome. After I (and probably other people) complained, he lowered the price to 60 pesos per person. There is a tennis complex, with 4 or 6 clay courts beautifully maintained in Cihuatlan, 14 km from Melaque, that charges 80 pesos for the court, regardless of the number of players, and for use of the court all day if you want. The pros are very friendly and helpful. Have a good game.
