Teacher Appreciation Bags – Update

On Friday we will be delivering the teacher appreciation bags to all of the 20 public school teachers and administrators in La Manzanilla, to thank them in the new year for all of their hard work with the children of our village.

There is still time to donate items to be included in the bags! We would need any items by first thing Friday morning (12/8). Some ideas for useful items are office supplies such as pencils, erasers, white out, calculators, post it notes, markers or personal gifts are welcome.

Thank you to the generous people who have given, including Stephanie & volunteers at the Helping Hand Bookstore (for the 20 bilingual dictionaries!) and June, Rick & Lyle, Jacqueline Walters, Petra H.,and Laurie Vaughn for supplies and goodies to be included in the bags.
