We headed out for Manzanillo at about 10:45am. The rain started just south of Barra and got very heavy by the time we hit Cihuatlan. At the check point just past the bridge separating Jalisco and Colima, we turned around since it looked like the really heavy weather was in front of us. The main street in Cihuatlan on the way back was flooded in places. Cars on the highway were pulling over to the side to wait out the heavy downpours. Once we turned off of that short stretch of 80 to return to La Manz the rain abated a lot. There were stretches that looked like no rain had fallen yet. There was definitely much much more rain south of us. So no CURPs for us today.
