I just got a report from the doctor at the clinic here in La Manzanilla that
November and December was the months that we had the most cases
but now it is on the way out.

I assume you are coming here in Febuary / March again?
Some of the unknowns are how long will the wet conditons continue here
(rainy stuff) and if it does stay wet does that mean Dengue could increase again
or is it strictly a part of the year thing?

Go to the search feature on the bottom of the home page of the message board
and put in Dengue, there are lots of links to good information in the past post.

May I recommend that you verify that the rental you choose is as mosquito
proof as possible i.e. has screens, seals up good, and possibly mosquito nets for each bed.

Also that the location is one which has less mosquitoes
(not sure how to get that data or if it is relevant).
