From PV, the Primera Plus, first class Bus leaves at 7:45 AM, arrives in Melaque at 11:45 AM. (Note: Melaque is the destination when you purchase the ticket, you will then have to take another bus (chicken bus) or cab back to La Manzanilla) There is one other Primera Plus first class bus that leaves PV at 12:15 PM, arriving in Melaque at 5:15 PM. The first class buses have bathrooms, airconditioning, reclining seats and movies - makes the journey very peasant, but expect to experience many twists and turns on the road - for sensitive constitutions, I recommend gravol. There is one 15 minute stop midway, where you can get out and stretch your legs.... El Tule. The one way ticket amount has changed from 180 pesos to 194 (or thereabouts). Get the ticket agent to write the Bus Number on your ticket, to make sure you do get on the proper bus. Returning from Melaque to PV - the only Primera Plus first class buses leave at 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM for PV. There are second class buses that leave more often for PV, and there is a schedule posted at the Primera Pus bus depot in Melaque. Happy Trails!
