I got a private message from someone who said that he had his billing name changed by Telmex (not electric, I know) to match his bank account name at Banamex. Only then did Banamex start to pay his phone bills. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me, since we gave Banamex a copy of our phone bill to set up the automatic payment each and every time. We shouldn't have to drive to Manzanillo to change our account with Telmex in order for Banamex to pay our bills. For now, we have given up on Banamex.
