Dengue - Travelling in March

Hello, My family and I have tickets to go to LM for the first time 2/26 - 3/5/2010. We are travelling with 2 toddlers and an a three month old, as well as my parents. This message board is the only place I have seen mention of the "dengue fever epidemic." Obviously, it concerns us. Has it abated? Can anyone give me an update? I understand the whole, "do whatever makes you feel comfortable," approach, but it is hard to do risk assessment from Seattle and I certainly don't want to endanger our children. Any information anybody could provide would be a huge help.Does anybody have the local doctors email? I speak fluent spanish and would like to get her/his advice. Thank you! Tomas
