Dengue

The doctor said that 80% of the town has had it. This is horrible. I wish some notice about this had been posted on the La Manzanilla websites - we have non-refundable tickets, not to mention many other expenses. The information about just how serious this is has been trickling in, and we are just starting to get a feel for it. We are not worried about ourselves, but we are very concerned for our children, especially our then 3 month old. We are praying that, prior to our departure, it will be under control (we don't leave until 2/24/2010). We will check with the clinic and may have to cancel everythng and lose all the $ and the only vacation I have for the year. Does anyone know if it is under better control in the more touristy areas? I am wondering if we should try to find a place nearer to Puerta Vallarta, where they may have better infrastructure (like spraying, etc). T
