Art Walk 2010

Thank you to all those, including many from outside La Manzanilla, who came out to Art Walk 2010. Sales were good, attesting to the quality of work done by local artisans. And, the local businesses seemed to benefit from the increased activity in town. The revenues from Art Walk, derived from participant fees and donation jars at each venue, tripled over last year and will be used to fund specific art-related educational programs and events to be announced this fall. Art Walk 2011 will be held on January 30, 2011 next year, so mark your calendars and tell your friends and guests who are visiting. Those artists reading this message and who would like to participate in next year's art walk, please email Pam and Larry at dreamweaver35s5@yahoo.ca and we will ensure you are included in future emails to participants.
