it sure seemed like more, but that's what our rain gauge says. We were eating at Figaro last night when the wind picked up, rain started slanting in off the ocean and almost immediately we were all pretty wet. Everyone moved into the middle of the room, Pino tied down his butterfly mobile before it took off, and it suddenly felt like we were at a hurricane party! Earlier, at about 6:15, I had looked at the GOES satellite plus Cuyutlan radar and didn't see anything that raised an alarm. I really give up on this weather - it just doesn't make any sense and every day is a complete surprise to me. All my weather sites show just a 5 to 20% chance of rain today, but who knows what will happen??? Not me. |
